Inferior mirage

This is a qualitative simulation of the inferior mirage effect.
The refractive index of the air in this example, is approximated with the function \(n(y)=\sqrt{1 + (\frac{y}{h})^2 }\), where \(h=600\) represents the height of a light emitting/reflecting object above the ground.
